Wrapping Up 2025 at Fisherville’s Finest — And a Look Ahead to 2026

As 2025 comes to a close here at Fisherville’s Finest, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a year filled with growth, community, and abundant harvests. Every season on the farm tells its own story, shaped by the weather, the soil, the animals, and the people who support us. And this year’s story might just be our favourite yet.

A Greenhouse Season Full of Life

Our one-acre greenhouse was bursting with 30–40 varieties of organically grown vegetables and fruit. From tender spring greens to vibrant peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, herbs, and our unique table grapes under plastic, the harvests were abundant and a joy to share.

And of course—our signature crops: baby pink ginger and turmeric. This year, our ginger crop wasn’t quite what we hoped for. Farming has a way of humbling us, reminding us that every season writes its own chapter. But we’re heading into 2026 confident that it will be a bumper year for ginger, with plenty of pure ginger juice cubes available. Our pure ginger juice cubes remain a favourite for teas, smoothies, and wellness shots, and we can’t wait to share even more next year.

Animals Raised the Right Way

Our pasture-raised chickens had another wonderful season roaming on fresh grass, soaking up sunshine, and living as nature intended. Alongside our grass-fed, grass-finished lamb and beef, and pasture-raised turkeys, this year reminded us once again that real food begins with real farming.

CSA Success — 3 Consecutive 12-Week Sessions

One of the highlights of the year was running three consecutive 12-week CSA sessions, feeding families from spring through late fall. Every week, boxes were overflowing with fresh, seasonal vegetables—lettuce, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, beans, carrots, squash, and herbs.

To everyone who joined one session, two, or all three: thank you. Your commitment to seasonal eating fuels everything we do.

Looking Ahead to 2026

🌿 Greenhouse Tea & Tour — Returning in Spring

Next year, our Greenhouse Tea & Tour events will return with expanded dates. Guests can stroll through our warm, tropical greenhouse while learning about whole foods, gut health, and how our ginger and turmeric grow. And yes—there will be plenty of Just Ginger Tea to sip along the way.

These intimate tours continue to sell out quickly and remain a magical, calming experience for all who attend.

🍇✨ Feast in the Vines — An Evening of Farm-to-Table Dining Under the Canopy

We’re thrilled to introduce our newest signature event: Feast in the Vines.

This elegant long-table dining experience will take place right under our lush grape canopy. Guests will enjoy:

A beautifully set harvest table winding through the vines

Candlelight, linen, live-edge wood, and the soft rustle of evening leaves

A chef-curated menu featuring the very best of our farm’s seasonal harvest

Vegetables grown steps from the table

Pasture-raised chicken and grass-fed meats from our fields

Fresh ginger, turmeric, herbs, and greenhouse fruit woven into each course

A night filled with connection, conversation, and community

It will be an unforgettable celebration of real food, local farming, and the joy of eating where your meal was grown. Tickets, dates, and chef details will be announced early in the new year.

Thank You for Being Part of Our Farm Family

To everyone who visited the greenhouse, joined the CSA, bought pasture-raised meats, picked up ginger or turmeric at the market, attended a Tea & Tour, or followed along online—thank you.

Your support allows us to continue growing healing food, raising animals with intention, and sharing the message that health begins with what we eat.

Here’s to a joyful, nourishing, and abundant 2026!
